Group IT Manager
North Wales, Office-Based

We’re partnering with well known manufacturing and distribution business operating across multiple sites, seeking a Group IT Manager to take full ownership of IT operations, infrastructure and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on, business-critical role for someone who thrives in complex operational environments. You’ll lead internal and external IT resources, drive improvement projects, and act as the bridge between technical delivery and board-level priorities.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing and upgrading IT systems, infrastructure and networks across multiple sites
Leading a small internal team and managing supplier performance
Owning IT change projects from strategy through to delivery
Strengthening cyber security, resilience and risk management
Working closely with senior leadership to align IT with operational goals
Improving data visibility and reporting for decision-making
Supporting business systems including ERP, warehouse management and production platforms
What we’re looking for:
Background in manufacturing, logistics or complex operational environments
Strong networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, FortiGate
Microsoft stack: 365, Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server
Experience with VMware, remote desktop services and endpoint management
Familiarity with ERP or warehouse systems and database support (SQL)
Comfortable leading internal teams, managing projects and presenting to stakeholders
