Head of Software Engineering required by one of the leading social mobility charities dedicated to improving opportunities for children and young adults across the UK.

Beyond leading the engineering team, you'll influence architecture, product direction, engineering practices and technology adoption, helping shape both the platform and the organisation as it continues to grow.

Core Requirements:
Proven software engineering leadership.
Strong, current coding skills in C# .Net and JavaScript (ideally angular)
Azure or equivalent cloud platform experience
Agile, DevOps and CI/CD.
Software architecture and solution design.
Modern testing approaches, including automation.
Technical leadership, mentoring and code reviews.
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
SaaS platform experience.
Charity or non profit sector experience.
Cloud architecture and scalability.
AI
Experience introducing new technologies, practices or ways of working.
