Infrastructure Engineer required, remotely, by a fast growing data analytics company to work in a small team to deliver an digital transformation project involving primarily data centre migrations and cloud integrations. Longer term, the company's growth plan requires the IT systems to scale up so this is a great opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help with BAU and achieve by delivering key projects.
The Infrastructure Engineer will need to be a good communicator and broad systems experience including servers, cloud systems, virtualisation technologies, Azure, AWS, MS365, VPNs, SQL/Oracle, Veeam (or similar), Windows Server, AD, and strong networking skills.
Progression opportunities will become available as the team grows and so, the ideal Infrastructure Engineer would also be interested in mentoring junior engineers.
In return, the company are offering a salary of between £30k and £40k DOE, a company bonus plan, 25 days holiday, a good pension plan, Private medical and various other insurances.
This role is fully remote however, given the nature of an Infrastructure Engineer, you may have to visit midlands based data centre sites or perhaps meet colleagues/suppliers from time to time.
