Principal Software Developer (FileMaker) required to lead design and development across global enterprise systems within the travel, entertainment and events technology sector. This senior role combines deep FileMaker expertise with wider C#, .NET and Azure integration, providing architectural direction, mentoring developers, and ensuring scalability, performance and code excellence.
You’ll design and optimise FileMaker applications, implement distributed and API-driven solutions, and guide technical delivery across cross-functional product teams.
Essential experience:
FileMaker Pro – database design, scripting, UI/UX, data relationships
FileMaker Server deployment, performance optimisation and automation
Security and permissions, AD integration, encryption at rest/in transit
External data integration via ODBC, RESTful API, message-based architecture
C#/.NET Core development and Azure Functions
CI/CD, GitHub, Docker, unit testing, source/version control
Agile delivery and team mentoring
Desirable:
Azure APIM, Cosmos DB, Blob/Table Storage, Graph API
Entity Framework, relational and non-relational databases
Postman, Selenium, Playwright
