Senior Software Developer required, remotely, by an impressive saas software house in need of a seasoned developer to take point on the development of complex software systems and provide technical direction and guidance to the team. Unlike a Lead Developer, this senior position is not a direct management role, but instead a technical functional offering the team SDLC expertise, developing the architecture and design patterns, and helping the developers deliver best practise with code reviews, mentoring, etc.
In particular, the Senior Software Developer will be expected to seek new tech and methodologies to help improve processes, systems and delivery. Naturally, coding will also play a part where needed so, the Senior Software Developer must be ready to get involved when required.
With a salary of up to £65k, this is a senior position demanding strong experience so the Senior Developer will need to be an excellent communicator, have a calm demeanour and be happy to deal with stakeholders from across the business, including customers.
Technically, the Senior Software Developer will need solid experience with some or all of the following:
.Net & .NET Core
C#
Vue.js
Azure
SQL
SaaS software (desirable)
Unit tests and code reviews
Testing frameworks such as xUnit and moq
Any experience of Azure DevOps would be useful too though not essential
