Software Developer - CMS
Liverpool - Hybrid (1-2 days pw onsite)
We’re recruiting for a digital agency based in Liverpool that delivers large-scale public-facing platforms for recognised brands. They’re looking for a mid-level .NET developer with CMS experience to join their backend team.
This role suits someone with 18mths to 3 years (ish) of hands-on experience in .NET Core and CMS builds, who enjoys owning delivery streams, solving integration challenges and collaborating with designers, developers and strategists. You'll have input into technical design, mentor junior developers and help shape solutions across both greenfield and ongoing projects.
Key skills and experience:
Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
Confident working with CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Umbraco or Sitecore
Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and relational databases
Experience integrating APIs and external business systems
Familiar with Git workflows and version control best practices
Aware of web security standards such as the OWASP Top 10
Comfortable engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders
Desirable:
Experience with the Optimizely CMS suite
CMS or Microsoft certifications
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Exposure to headless CMS and GraphQL
Experience using Jira or similar project tools
